More Dust Devil Mt. Bike race at McDowell Mountain Park

I’ve gotten a bit behind on my image processing. Shooting a road bike race, a mountain bike race, and Paradise Valley Community College soccer games has left me with a bit of a backlog of images to process and post.

Valerie Millis of Goodyear Arizona placed 5th in Cat. 3 Womans with a time of 1:39:55. Valerie knew there were sharp things out on the course that could bite you and she took the necessary precautions.

53-year-old Wayne Decker (30) of Glendale, Arizona placed 36th in Cat. 3 Male with a time of 1:30:37 and 24-year-old Mitch Maestas (77) of Albuquerque New Mexico placed second in Collegiate C mens with a time of 1:30:39.

31-year-old Aaron Kerth placed 9th in Cat. 3 male with a time of 1:23:12. Aaron also help with the event by raffling off a Fetish bike frame.

44-year-old Jonathan Robins of Scottsdale, Arizona placed mid-pack in Cat. 3 Male with a time of 1:31:46.

At age 22, Chloe Forsman placed first in Collegiate A Womans with a time of 1:46:19. She beat the mens time by a little over a minute, but the men’s winner had 15 years on her.
