I took another look at some of my images from the October 17th, 2009 match up between the Phoenix College Bears and the Scottsdale Community College Artichokes and because I love football I thought I’d post up a few for your enjoyment.
Late in the 4th quarter Brandon Cluff (11) of the Scottsdale Artichokes looks to the sidelines for the play.
See the rest of the story after the jump . . .
Blake Decker (4) of the Phoenix College Bears scrambles out of the pocket and looks for a receiver down field.
What is it with football these days, notice the Scottsdale player’s hand going right for the Bears player’s face-mask/eyes? Maybe it was just a mistake and the player didn’t really intend to go for the other player’s eyes or maybe it is just how things are these days. I saw some very dirty plays by players on both teams and hope it is not inductive of either the players or coaches attitude towards this game I love.
The out-of-focus play-clock behind Anthony Duran (15) of the Scottsdale Artichokes make this shot for me.
Rueben Ramirez (7) the quarterback for the Phoenix College Bears looks to the sideline for the play.
One of the coaching staff for the Phoenix College Bears talks with a player.
With 4:20 left in the third quarter the Bears find themselves down by 33 points and things are not looking to good.
Paul Perry (31) brings the ball down field for the Phoenix College Bears from deep within Scottsdale territory.
Rueben Ramirez (7) steps back to pass from deep within Bear territory.
Will Curtis (73) from the Scottsdale defensive line looks happy after their 47 to 7 win against the Phoenix College Bears.
The Phoenix College players congratulate the opposing team after the game.
