WNBA Woman’s professional basketball is not the same as the Men’s game, mostly because stuff happens below the rim, but it is still exciting and fun-filled entertainment. Whaaat? Entertainment, this is professional sports! Well yeah, but the fans just don’t seem to come out for these games and the dollars don’t seem to be at the stratospheric level as the Men’s games.
Some photographers don’t like shooting WNBA. I don’t mind, in fact I enjoy shooting the games and sure would like it if they would let me cover the entire season, but I guess it is not going to happen this year. Here is a small taste of 2010 WNBA action with the May 22 game between the Seattle Storm and the Phoenix Mercury.

When I see stuff like this, I grab a frame. Some other photographers might not like this shot, but I like how lined up the logos are and I swear the ball was in the middle of the court just like that.
